Mr. & Mrs. Kirby

Stephen and his band were amazing, playing our wedding at the Mansion at Noble Lane in Bethany, PA.  We first saw Stephen play at local jazz lounges around Philly, and always enjoyed the performances, so we just had to hire him to perform at both our cocktail hour and during dinner.

Our wedding had many moving pieces - shifting around to four different locations on the facilities grounds.  We moved from one section outside for the ceremony, to another section outside for the cocktail hour, to another tent covered outdoor section, and finally into the mansion for dancing.  For the cocktail hour, Stephen and his keyboardist set the scene for a high class affair - providing the ambient music while we partook in cocktails & appetizers, and chatted with guests.  

Stephen was so flexible - making the smooth transition to the DJ while he shifted inside the tent for the wedding party dinner intros.  His band took the time to learn the intro songs we wanted, which ensured we felt like stars as we entered the tent.  The dinner lasted 1.5 hours, and from the beginning, Stephen had the party popping with the entire tent standing, dancing, and waving napkins to the upbeat music!  It wasn’t all high tempo:  he knew when to mellow the jams and create a delightful space for us to enjoy our meal and give our traditional speeches.  

We couldn’t speak highly enough about Stephen, and would definitely refer him for any occasion! In fact we have, he’s played for the wedding of two of our close friends as well!
