Earlier this year, The Smooth Show did its first worship service as part of the Black History Month celebration at Christian Faith Fellowship. Apparently the good people at this church really liked us; they’re having us back on Sunday 07Jul as part of their church anniversary celebration. As some of you know, I met all of the members of The Smooth Show through church; however, we have never played together for a church service. That all changes on Sunday 25Feb as Christian Faith Fellowship is welcoming us to provide the music for their worship service, which begins at 10:00am. In celebration of Black History Month, the church is highlighting the origins of jazz music; you’ll hear some of the jazz you know and love from us before and after service as well.
