Stephen Mitnaul has always recognized music as the universal language. He has used the alto saxophone to reach and connect people from all walks of life since he first picked up the instrument as a middle school student. While raised in Columbia, SC, he cultivated and refined his passion at W. J. Keenan High School and the University of South Carolina.
After moving to the Greater Philadelphia area in 2009, Stephen began connecting to others in the performing arts and has since developed an expansive network with some of the area's most talented instrumentalists & vocalists.
Stephen is considered a versatile musician with particular familiarity in the genres of jazz, gospel, funk, and soul/R&B. He incorporates his unique perspective & experiences into his performances - captivating crowds and providing audiences with truly a one-of-a-kind experience.
