Stephen Mitnaul

The band’s sound reminded me of Miles Davis’ when he experimented with Jazz Fusion. That seemed appropriate. Mr. Mitnaul’s style contains the soul of Miles Davis with the chops of John Coltrane.

Their music has always been enjoyed by the attendees of our Martin Luther King Day Interfaith Service , and their personalities have been a great addition to the overall success of our program.  We would highly recommend them for any corporate or personal occasion that would appreciate their great music!

The sound that emanates from his saxophone is truly remarkable.  As his silky smooth sound carries through the room, everybody stops.  They need to get a peek at where this gorgeous noise is coming from.  Over the years, Stephen has been asked to headline some of our nights at Heritage.  These are always my favorite nights!

From the beginning, Stephen had the party popping with the entire tent standing, dancing, and waving napkins to the upbeat music!  It wasn’t all high tempo:  he knew when to mellow the jams and create a delightful space for us to enjoy our meal and give our traditional speeches.  

We couldn’t speak highly enough about Stephen, and would definitely refer him for any occasion! 

I would highly recommend Stephen's band to anyone looking for high quality jazz entertainment!  They did a fabulous job at two of our signature events!
